Message from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al-Itqan for Quran Education.
Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an is a Qur'anic institution that embraces, within its centers, nearly 2,700 male and female students. It cares for them in Qur'an, character, and knowledge, instilling in them the Qur'anic way and the Prophetic guidance to reconnect their hearts with the Book of Allah, so that the Holy Qur'an becomes their source of direction, their spring of understanding, and their way of life, at a time when values were nearly overturned and the minds and hearts of many young people were changing. Dar Al-Itqan was founded in 1428 AH (2007 CE) in pursuit of goodness. It races against time and keeps pace with progress, studying the many methods of memorization to choose the best of them, and studying the stages of students' development to give each age group what suits it, so that the verses are planted while hearts are still tender and remain firm like a necklace that adorns the soul.
The institution has distinguished itself with its dictation (talqeen) centers, excelled through its Golden Rule courses, and shone in consolidating and mastering memorization. It replaced traditional examinations with a system of full recitation from memory (sard). Hundreds of male and female huffaz and course graduates have graduated from it, and its services have benefited both the local community and beyond.
