Qur'anic Character Education Department Conducts a Supervisory Tour to Follow Up on Teachers and Students
The Qur'anic Character Education Department at Dar Al-Itqan conducted a supervisory tour on Wednesday, 3/9, following up on mentor Najat Mansour, accompanied by character education supervisor Itimad Nassar. The visit covered a lesson explaining some of the rights of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, in the Islamic education unit.
During the tour, a number of distinctive positive aspects were observed, most notably:
- The teacher's commitment to attendance despite her personal circumstances.
- Discipline and good attendance by most students.
- The mentor's careful follow-up with late students, asking them about the reasons for their lateness.
- Refined educational conduct, such as students making room for a late classmate as soon as she entered the class.
- Students' notable engagement, enriching the lesson with outside information and explaining new vocabulary.
- The teacher linking the lesson to real life to bring meanings closer and deepen understanding.
- The use of active learning strategies such as the "Postman" strategy, which boosts interaction.
At the end of the visit, thanks and praise were extended to the mentor and students, as well as to the supervisor for her constructive feedback, which reflected insight and intelligence, and some notes were discussed to improve performance. The mentor showed readiness to improve, and the supervisor was alerted to some points she had overlooked, in the interest of raising the standard of educational work.
The Qur'anic Character Education Department continues these tours regularly, affirming the importance of combining knowledge with character building and ensuring the educational process runs with a refined Qur'anic spirit.
