In a Grand Ceremony, Imam Al-Shatibi Center Honors 300 Male and Female Qur'an Memorizers
Imam Al-Shatibi Center for Qur'anic Studies, affiliated with Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an, held its annual ceremony honoring the male and female students who completed memorizing the Book of Allah, as well as those who memorized parts of it and graduates of the academic and Tajweed courses.
The ceremony opened with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur'an by reciter Sheikh Nihad Abu Al-Ata, followed by a speech from Sheikh Shadi Hilles, the center's director, who spoke about the center's key milestones and achievements since its founding and reviewed the past year's accomplishments. Sheikh Shadi invited people of goodness to direct their charity toward serving the Qur'an and its people, stressing the importance of supporting this blessed work.
His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Musa (Abu Qusai), Head of Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an, then delivered a speech expressing his appreciation for the center's achievements and thanking its management and teachers for their great efforts in serving the Holy Qur'an.
Next came the parents' speech, delivered on their behalf by Dr. Ahmed Hisham Hilles, who thanked the center and advised fathers, mothers, and students to make the Holy Qur'an their way of life.
At the end of the ceremony, the teachers, the students who memorized parts of the Qur'an, and the course instructors and graduates were honored, along with Dar Al-Itqan's management and everyone who supported the center materially and morally. The ceremony brought great happiness to students and their parents, whose faces shone with pride and joy at what had been achieved. Dar Al-Itqan and the neighborhood's residents and dignitaries also praised the center's achievements and its dedication to serving the Holy Qur'an.
