Head of Dar Al-Itqan Meets the Diwan Al-Huffaz Department to Discuss the New Hijri Year Plan
The Head of Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an, Sheikh Ahmed Musa, held a meeting with the Diwan Al-Huffaz Department in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, to discuss the plan for the new Hijri year.
The meeting was attended by the department's teachers, who oversee the affairs of the male and female students who have memorized the Book of Allah, the Almighty.
The Head of the institution praised the department, noting that it works with the elite and is where creativity shines, and called for making the new Hijri year one of excellence, while taking into account the difficult humanitarian conditions the people of Gaza are living through.
The Diwan Al-Huffaz Department is dedicated to following up with the huffaz and designing programs to develop their mastery of similar verses, their understanding of word meanings, and their consolidation of classical texts and memorized material, enabling them to recite the entire Qur'an from memory in a single sitting, in addition to organizing special competitions and recreational events for the huffaz.
