Dar Al-Itqan Opens a Qur'an Memorization Tent in a Displacement Camp
Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an opened a Holy Qur'an memorization tent in one of the displacement camps in the Al-Mawasi area of the southern Gaza Strip.
The tent was set up after students had been memorizing out in the open under the heat of the sun, with no dedicated shelter for their circles.
Dar Al-Itqan said that, symbolic as this step may be, it affirms the commitment to continuing the Qur'anic journey and encourages parents to enroll their children in memorization circles, as they have been out of school for nearly two years because of the war.
Dar Al-Itqan thanked the generous donor for the tent, and called for attention to the memorization circles in all displacement areas of Gaza, as the war continues and most mosques and prayer halls have been destroyed.
