With 300 Male and Female Students, Dar Al-Itqan Organizes the Firm Mountains Qur'an Recitation Competition
Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an organized the Firm Mountains competition for memorizing the entire Qur'an and reciting parts of it, with more than 300 male and female students from across the Gaza Strip taking part. The competition was held at Al-Hasayna Mosque in Gaza City for male students and Al-Ghanem Mosque in Khan Younis for female students, running from the early morning hours until around the Dhuhr prayer and after.
The competition began as participants arrived at the venues, their enthusiasm clearly visible on their faces. Al-Hasayna and Al-Ghanem mosques were filled with crowds of students reciting the Book of Allah, the hum of their recitation filling the place with a special spirituality.
The competition included a variety of tests in reciting different parts of the Holy Qur'an, giving participants the opportunity to demonstrate their memorization and recitation skills. Attendees praised the outstanding level shown by the students, reflecting the great efforts Dar Al-Itqan makes in teaching the Holy Qur'an.
Dar Al-Itqan welcomed delegations of visitors who came to follow the competition and encourage the participants. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and healthy competition, as everyone gave their very best to achieve outstanding results.
The institution's leadership affirmed that the competition is part of its annual plan to firmly establish the memorization of the Holy Qur'an in students' hearts and strengthen their ability to recite the Book of Allah with mastery. They added that such events motivate students to continue memorizing the Qur'an and learning its rules, helping to graduate a generation of skilled huffaz.
