Ramadan Qur'an Competition Launched in Cooperation with the Directorate of Education in Southern Gaza
Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an launched a Qur'an competition for male and female students in the southern Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education, to mark the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.
At Al-Quds School in Khan Younis, the competition began with 102 male and female students taking part, in the presence of the Head of Dar Al-Itqan, Sheikh Ahmed Musa, and representatives of the Directorate of Education.
The competition focused on memorizing Surat Yusuf, Surat Al-Isra', and Surat Al-Hujurat, with emphasis on mastering Tajweed rules and recitation, as well as beauty of voice.
The competition is part of a series of events Dar Al-Itqan organizes to celebrate the month of the Qur'an, and reflects its policy of partnering with educational institutions in the Gaza Strip.
