In a step reflecting its belief that the quality of a circle begins with the quality of its teacher, Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Holy Qur'an in Gaza launched a specialized qualification course titled "Teacher Development," targeting the institution's male and female supervisors and Qur'an teachers, from Wednesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 18.
The course runs over four days with two sessions daily, across three governorates (Khan Younis, the Middle Area, and Gaza) to reach as many staff members as possible. It includes eight specialized lectures delivered by a select group of trainers, covering: effective teaching skills, the ethics of the Qur'an-teaching profession, professional circle management, understanding students and dealing with different personalities, educational leadership and making an impact, influential communication, the mission-driven teacher, and building the model circle.
The course embodies the institution's vision of elevating its staff, out of its conviction that a Qur'an teacher is not merely a transmitter of letters, but the builder of a generation that carries the Qur'an through the hardest of times. Investing in their preparation is an investment in a message that proves the Qur'an is stronger than war.
