*As part of the National Qur'an Week activities, Dar Al-Itqan honors 444 Qur'an reciters and listeners in southern Gaza*
Dar Al-Itqan for Teaching the Qur'an honored 444 reciters and listeners who recited the Holy Qur'an from memory in a single sitting, at a ceremony held in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Dar Al-Itqan named the group of reciters, who completed their recitation on the 15th of Sha'ban, the "Crowns of the Most Merciful" cohort.
The Head of Dar Al-Itqan, Sheikh Ahmed Musa, praised the huffaz, entrusting them with holding firmly to the Qur'an and expressing his hope that they will lead the memorization movement in the future, especially within this blessed institution, Dar Al-Itqan.
The ceremony is part of the National Qur'an Week project in which Dar Al-Itqan is participating, running from the 9th to the 16th of the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH.
The project centers on intensifying events and activities that honor the Holy Qur'an and its people, including Qur'anic lessons and lectures, graduation ceremonies for ijazah and Qur'anic course students, a march of Qur'an memorizers, and many other activities.
